Winter Break

When I got back from Thanksgiving break we had two weeks of class. The first week of classes we have that time to prepare and go over the stuff we learned over the semester. Also we have that whole week off from lacrosse so we can all focus on our classes and studying for finals. Since we have lacrosse off we have to turn in our equipment to our head coach before we leave for break. Once the first week of classes are over it is finals week.  I have two finals that week for math and computer science. One is on a Tuesday and the other once is on Thursday. Once finals week is over I need to pack up my room and my sister is coming to pick me up on campus. This year we are going to Cincinnati to spend Christmas with my mom's side of the family. But we go to our house first and do not leave for Cincinnati until like December 20th. When we get home my family and I set up the Christmas tree and the rest of the Christmas decorations around the house to of course get ready for Christmas. The

Thanksgiving Break

Before Thanksgiving break we had a week of classes left plus that Monday and Tuesday Thanksgiving week. Since Thanksgiving break was close every professor and coach was trying to get everything done in such little time. I would have no free time or any time to just rest for a couple hours because I would be busy with studying, turning in homework and going over plays or film for lacrosse. On top of that we have exams in the next two or three weeks so I will be busy studying for those. I go to tutoring every other day for math and go to the writing center so they can look over my final paper before I turn it in. Over Thanksgiving break I will try to get work done and try to make time to study but I doubt I will. For Thanksgiving break I am going to Cincinnati to go see my mom's side of the family. We will be going to my aunt's house for dinner. My grandparents and other aunt will meet us there and stay for the day. My cousins and I are pretty close in age so we all get along and

Second Week of Lacrosse

For this week of lacrosse we would have a whole week to prepare for a scrimmage at the end of the weekend. We had practice everyday for at least two hour and sometimes even longer. The first practice we had was rough because it was all running and boring drills. But that practice felt like it lasted a lot longer than three hours. The second practice was a lot of the same stuff but we did more game type drills and less boring slow drills but we still ran after practice because our head coach felt like making us run. Our third practice went a lot better. We installed some plays for our offense but our defense did not install anything that day so, they were a day behind and had to catch up quickly. Our fourth practice came around but a lot of people showed up late. So for the first thirty minutes our head coach ran us while he was yelling at us. At that point everyone was tired and ready to go home. Then halfway through the fourth practice it started to pour on us. That did not help at a

Making Money For Lacrosse #3

This was my team and I's last fundraiser we had to do for the season. This job we had to do was a lot easier and way more simpler than the last two jobs we had to do earlier in the season.  For this job we would have to work for the Columbus Crew which is a professional soccer team in Ohio. The Crew stadium was close by; it was only about an hour away from campus instead of the two or three hours like the last two jobs were. Plus we did not have to be there super early like the other jobs. We had to be there around noon to get our jobs and help set up the field. Our head coach told us to leave around ten in the morning so we can be there around eleven. When we got there the same thing happened we got our shirts and got assigned our jobs then went to our assigned job. I had the job of sitting in the stands and walking people to their seats. It was a pretty easy job compared to the last two we had. It was a boring job but I would rather have to do this job than do any of the last two

Midterms

For my midterms only two of my classes had them while the other three did not provide them. So, the week before my midterms my professors would use that whole week for review. For math I had class four days a week and one of the classes was an hour and fifteen minutes long. I studied outside of class. Since I have study tables for lacrosse I used those two hours to help me study also. So for the math midterm I was pretty prepared for it. But for my music midterm we only review twice that week in class instead of reviewing all three days. I tried to squeeze time for the music midterm but I was so worried about the math midterm I kind of forgot about the music one. So, because of that I was not really prepared for it but still felt comfortable about the music midterm. I also use the weekend to study for everything while also doing other homework. I also had lacrosse during this whole week so I was busy that whole week and really had no time for myself or time to hangout with my friends

Making Money for Lacrosse #2

The lacrosse team and I had to work a second job because our head coach and our assistant coach made us. We worked for the same company as our last job but this time it was somewhere else. It was a concert again, so we did the same stuff as last time. The event was two hours away this time and we had to drive ourselves instead of getting into a bus and driving with the whole team. The concert started at eleven in the morning so we all had to be up around eight in the morning and leave by nine in the morning. When we got there we met with the managers again and got the same jobs as last time. This concert was outside instead of inside like the last concert we worked at. We also had to wear all black shirts and long black pants to the concert. We also had to bring a backpack to hold our things like our wallet and phone etc. The managers handed us our earpieces again and gave us a shirt to wear over our black shirt. It was about eighty degrees outside so it was pretty hot standing in fr

Making Money For Lacrosse #1

The way the lacrosse team makes money is instead of going door to door we work for a company. The lacrosse team would work security for a company we talked with over the summer. The lacrosse teams would work as security guards at a concert. So, the lacrosse team would go on a bus and work all day from morning till night. So, our head coach told us that everyone has to work that week and be ready for a long day. The day we all had to work we woke up at about nine in the morning and walked to the bus. The head coach and the assistant coach had breakfast for us when we all got there. The concert was an hour away and the bus ride was long and awful. We did not know what kind of job we would be assigned when we got to the concert. When we finally got there we got off the bus and walked for about five minutes and met a group of people that were going to work with us. Then the manager came over to tell us what we would be doing for the day. Some of the guys were assigned to stand by the bathr
