First Week of Lacrosse.
When I am done with all my classes for the day I would go back to my dorm and eat some food, hop in my bed and rest until lacrosse practice starts. Lacrosse practice is usually two to three hours everyday. But before we even knew about practice we had a team bonding day. The team bonding was held at lacrosse so the team and I had space to do stuff. The head coach brought his grill in his truck and was gonna make it for the whole team. He was going to make burgers and hot dogs and he also brought chips and mac and cheese for us for the side dishes. While the head coach was cooking our assistance coach was splitting us into teams for kickball. The assistant coach split us into four different teams and played at least three games. We played kickball and ate food for two hours before we all decided to be done and go back into our dorms. But anyways, when it was time to go to practice my roommate and I would walk to the locker room to change and get our gear. After we changed and got our gear all of us would walk to the field and wait for our coaches to show up. When the coaches showed up we would go right into stretching then right into partner passing. This is how most of the practices would start, we would always take our time doing our warmup because it was so important. When we finished our warmup the coaches would split us into offensive and defensive groups. The defense would do their thing on one side of the field. The offense would go on the other side of the field and do our thing. The offense would do shooting and dodging drills. Then we would all come back into one group and do a drill where it is offense versus defense. After that we would do 6v6 then do a cool down lap around the field then a cool down stretch. When practice was finished we changed and put our gear back in the locker room then went to the trainers. Most of my team would go take an ice bath or get ice for themselves. Then after all that we would go to the dining hall and eat dinner then go back to our dorms and get ready for tomorrow.
